Hollywood star Kevin Hart's favourite UK comedian 'Slim' is the host for the 9th Limelight Film Awards. The award winning comedian (BBC3) with sell out shows at The Hackney Empire is looking forward to entertaining the crowd at the Guildhall.
The Limelight Film Awards is the largest independent short film awards programme in the UK, attended by hundreds of film makers, media personalities, industry and corporate heads. Each year we identify and celebrate emerging film talent through the red carpet awards ceremony.
Supported by the City of London Corporation, the Guildhall hosts royal banquets to state visits and this year we are extra pleased that film makers will also be making their mark on this 500 year old historic venue.

6.30 PM - Red Carpet reception
The red carpet event will kick off with reception drinks and canapés as you walk past the photo booth, so be sure to pose your way in.
7.30 PM - Awards programme
Opening with a short ceremony, the main awards programme will commence where highlight of the nominated films will be screened before each award is presented by our VIP guests. We will have a few special performances as well between the awards, keeping you entertained and excited as film makers celebrate!
10.00 PM - END
The event is expected to finish around 10pm.
The AFTER-PARTY
11.00 PM - 3.00AM AFTER-PARTY**

Our after party will be hosted at Dirty Martini in the city, where our guests will receive a complimentary drink upon arrival and then you can enjoy a bespoke range of martinis, signature cocktails and glamorous interiors The party will go on until 3am, celebrating the 9th Limelight Film Awards.
